17.20 hours (NL-Time). Having dropped its supplies on or near the Supply Drop Point near Arnhem, Stirling EF263 (L9-'W') returned to base via a reciprocal course. Flying south-east of 's-Hertogenbosch the aircraft was hit by anti-aircraft fire. None of the crew were able to exit the aircraft which crashed near 'Huize Ruwenberg' a boys-boarding school at Sint-Michielsgestel.
