The remains of Pte. Allen were found in Oktober 1985 in a forest close to Ginkel Heath. He was identified by an inscription in his belt and reburied on the Oosterbeek War Cemetery in 1986. Below the photo of the exact spot in 1985 where the remains just have been removed.
